Derek de Lang & Keith Larsen, professionally known as Lux Mundi, are a drum & bass production duo and band formed in Los Angeles in 2018. Originally hailing from the Los Angeles alternative rock scene, de Lang & Larsen met through Doug Grean, best known for his songwriting & production work with Scott Weiland, Stone Temple Pilots & Velvet Revolver. They decided to shift gears after being inspired by artists like Pendulum, LTJ Bukem, and Chase & Status.

Their international debut began in late 2020 with the metal-tinged single “Ignition”, followed by the vocal-led “Holding On” in 2021 (both) via DNBB Records, and a drum & bass-ified cover of Radiohead’s “Pyramid Song”.

Following their remix of KiKi Holli’s “New High”, and their latest single, “Almost There”, the group retreated to their studios to begin work on their debut EP, to be released in 2024, where they are currently diligently at work on writing their next chapter of their careers & their next major body of work.

Their live band show is currently scheduled to debut this fall.
